LOVE = SELF
One of the most fundamental problem we face in our times is the antiquated language we use to describe our evolved modes of being-in-the-world. The internet of things is rapidly transforming our collective consciousness into digi-physical content that will only accelerate the integral transparency of conscious evolution.
Social media is the manifest reflection of our shared consciousness; physically through fibers and invisibly through the inescapable WIFI blanket that surrounds. One MIND actively reminding ItSelf of ITSELF.
We need a more holographic language that allows simultaneous layers of depth to be revealed within each word.
I’ve often said I visualize my life’s work as creating a new language over the next 30 years, give or take.
So, let’s get started, shall we?
Who are you? Which self is the “real” self?
What is love? Which love is the “real” love?
We speak of a singular word, “self,” and we expect to be able to define this word with yet more words. We use “love” to describe things but also people and beyond, but certainly your love for your diamonds is not the Love you feel for your family.
I’m proposing we continue to use the same words, yet divide them into three spellings: lowercase, Capitals, and ALL CAPS. There exists the potential for infinite spellings; you could forever divide the space between the letters down to the nano, or up to the edge of the Universe, but for now we will stick with three—the magic number.
self>Self>SELF
self — your skin and bones, hair and nails, eyeballs and toes. But at the end of the day, self is mostly just water. self is a highly dualistic mode of being, trapped in the perils of linear time, where seeds are planted, things grow; they are most beautiful in the fall, but everything dies when winter comes. self is trapped in the trees, and not seeing the forest. self is going to die.
Self—you’re a Node connected to a greater set of Nodes. Self is a vital cell in a larger Organism, and that Organism finds itself still within a greater ORGANISM. Self is realized; Self has the ability to perceive SELF, to varying degrees. Some Selfs catch small glimpses behind the curtain from time to time, some Selfs make it their duty on Earth to Witness SELF and denounce self all together. Self recognizes that all Selfs are interwoven within SELF.
SELF—is. SELF is the meta-architecture that connects the nodes of Selfs. SELF is before before, SELF is after after. SELF pervades and persists with utter simplicity and POWER. SELF is SINGULAR, the undivided Ever-Present Origin—the Source of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. SELF is the Tao. SELF IS.
love>Love>LOVE
love—the love of a thing. I love that gorgeous handbag and the way a shirt sparkles late at night. I love bubble gum, a whiskey drink, and WIFI zones. I love late night Wonder Years episodes and I especially love to look at pretty things. I love long walks on the beach, and I love Twitter—a lot.
Love—transferring from node to node, Love is the Connection between sentient beings. I Love my daughter like I’ve never fathomed Love before, I Love my wife and Love my parents, and boy do I Love my dog Charlotte Mingus. Love is what most self’s think they’re looking for, and Love “completes” a self into becoming a Self. Love comes and Love goes, though. Love is not always permanent, and we can’t control when or where we will fall in or out. Sometimes Love lasts a lifetime, and sometimes it’s discovered when connecting with the eyes of a passerby on the street. Love is Beautiful, but Love is not to be confused with LOVE.
LOVE—is. All pervasive and everlasting, LOVE is (T)HERE. There is no beginning and no ending to LOVE, it is always BEGENDING. It is an inescapable shower of LIGHT that most of us spend a lifetime covering up with shades, drapes, awnings, plywood and shutters. We block the LIGHT because it’s too obvious, it’s too simple, and too present. LOVE is not the butcher, nor the baker—LOVE is the CANDLESTICK maker.
It’s the easiest thing to miss, and most don’t know it’s always NOWhere at the tip of your nose.
LOVE has manifested itself into countless words throughout history, and we most especially must remember that the word LOVE is certainly NOT LOVE.
LOVE IS.
Do you love your self?
Do you experience Self Love?
Never forget what you already knew…
LOVE = SELF
So simple, and so beautiful.
