Week of 12 June 2017
My build-to-learn cohort began this week. We’re still in the early planning stages, but we’ve adopted Trello for user stories and workflow management.
I’ve begun writing unit tests for a project called ReForum, a forum application using express, React, Redux, Mongodb, and Passport. This is an excellent opportunity to build out a test suite for a completely unfamiliar code base, but one that uses familiar technologies.
The fork lives here:
ReForum - A forum application. Built with React, Redux, Express and MongoDB.github.com
Also, I received a mention in the weekly digest for my cohort:
It’s amazing to see so much collaboration and discussions already in the very first week!medium.com
I’m so used to using commas to delimit array elements and object properties, I hadn’t realized the comma can be used in expressions, too.
