213 Laid Back Covers on Spotify

Laid Back Covers

I have been working on this playlist for about a year. I keep collecting versions of covers that are mellow, acoustic or laid back. I love when an artist takes a song and makes it their own.

It includes classics like Ryan Adams’ Wonderwall (originally by Oasis), Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah (originally by Leonard Cohen), and of course, Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt (originally by Nine Inch Nails).

But it has some really incredible versions of some of my favorite songs. Like this version of Paul Simon’s America by First Aid Kit, or this awesome version of Higher Love by James Vincent McMorrow (Original by Robert Palmer).

It will be more than 213 soon, but you get the idea. I wish I could go through them all and tell you what I love about them. I hope you love them as much.
