In my worklife, I manage project outreach to get new vertical commercial construction projects using Energy Design Assistance utility incentive programs around the US. This program saves energy on large new construction projects that will be there for 50, 75 years or longer - helping mitigate climate crisis while sending significant 5 and 6 digit incentives to the project developers. Recent industry consulting includes Commercial PACE loan origination, energy sector think tank and market mapping for Google X (aka "the Moonshot Factory"). John is past President of Board of COSEIA engaging state and national renewable policy. Recent owner of a CO based solar company that sold and installed smart home technology and PV solar. Specialized in working with national and regional production new home builders such as Shea, Ryland, Meritage, Thrive, others getting rooftop solar and smart home technology on all new homes. Served on faculty at Ecotech Institute, a unique renewable energy Denver area college teaching business sustainability curriculum. Early career in Corporate Development with Liberty Media / TCI (now Comcast) and working with John Malone provided big picture skills and experience. Learned both sides of working as a market leader with scale perspective for fresh business modeling, mergers and acquisition, corporate development and industry alignments.
