“Do they know how disgusting they look?” Beetle asked his coworker. “Just watching them makes me want to regurgitate my last meal.”

“I know what you mean. You should have seen what they were doing last time I was on duty. Fortunately my shift ended so I didn’t have to suffer too long. My replacement wasn’t so lucky though. Last I heard she’s still in recovery.”

“She should be thankful she’s still alive.”

A pregnant pause filled the air as the pair considered their stricken associate.

“They’re repulsive bags of flesh and meat.” Beetle said, breaking the silence.

“True. Good thing they’re not too bright. Can you imagine how horrible it would be for the rest of the galaxy if they figured out intergalactic travel?”

Beetle looked down at the cerulean planet below him and shivered at the thought.
