Partners — In Effective Learning

In reading this short post, I immediately thought of those students who enter this world curious about everything and everyone around them — only to have that curiosity driven out by family, community, and too often by teachers with their controlling / rigid / strict pedagogy…

With a cue from this short post, we educators must, I believe, yield that control to the students and encourage their addressing of their curiosity — aligned with standards but designed to develop their innovation / creativity skills. As this post reminds us all (educators, parents, and community), “partnering” with our young is so important to their development and use of Effective Learning skills.
