The 3rd stop in our primer series takes us the black and blue division that is the NFC North. This division is made up by Charlie Brown (Anubis), The Artist Formerly known as Ray (Ray), Polou and Lone. A lot has changed over the holiday weekend in particular in one city in this division- Chicago. Lets waste no time and get right to it.

Lone (Chicago Bears)- Lone is another multi CFM Super Bowl champion with some serious game. He takes the lead of his favorite team, Da Bears. Lone has always been known as a great user defender and has more than enough on offense to give even the best defensive player fits. The breaking news over the weekend was the acquisition of one of the best defensive players in the league- Khalil Mack. While the price was high you almost cannot put a value on player the caliber of Mack. He joins an already stout defense. His offense while young has some big time talent in RB’s Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen. Also to note TE Trey Burton figures to create mismatches with his speed. Biggest question mark???: Can Trubinsky get it done?

Polou (Greenbay Packers)- Polou takes over in Green Bay where he will have his offense guided by the best thrower of the ball in the league- Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay has one of the best defensive lines in the game as they’ve added Muhammad Wilkerson to help star defensive lineman Kenny Clark and Mike Daniels. A strong defensive draft should also help bolster this group by adding rookie CB’s Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson. The offense as we mentioned will go through Aaron Rodgers and there is some cheese there on the depth chart that Polou will need to figure out. Biggest question mark???: Who will be the lead back in Green Bay?

Charlie Brown AKA Anubis (Minnesota Vikings)- CB/Anubis is a diehard fan of his beloved Vikings. Losing in the NFCCG to the eventual Super Bowl champion Eagles has the Vikings bringing back a very solid team now lead by QB Kirk Cousins. The defense will be one of the best in the game with super star talent at all 3 levels (DE Griffen, LB Barr, CB Rhodes and SS Smith). The offense figures to be very balanced with the addition of Cousins and RB dynamo Dalvin Cook. Biggest Question Mark???: Can the Vikings OL hold up in a division that now features Khalil Mack, Everson Griffen, Ezekiel Ansah and Kenny Clark?

Ray the Sav (Lions)- Ray is one of the toughest opponents you’ll face. He’s has victories over some of the best players in the game and takes over in Detroit for the Lions. CB Darius Slay and Glover Quinn form a very strong defensive backfield that relies on the pass rush of veteran DE Ezekiel Ansah. LB Jarrad Davis is a chase and hit LB that can get sideline to sideline. On offense Matt Stafford returns to lead this unit. Biggest question mark???: Does coach Ray have the pieces in place to put enough points up on the board to consistently win games?

This concludes our 3rd stop on our Primer tour. We hope you enjoyed this breakdown on the NFCN. Tomorrow we will hit an AFC division to be determined. Stay tuned and look for roster updates to drop sometime here this week as we near kickoff for VML season 1.
