I totally get the urge to find something nice to say about the movie to offset the often-misogynist tidal wave swamping the internet, but…

It’s just an awful movie in every way. Any good moments get overtaken by the cringe-worthy and tone-deaf writing and acting performances.

It’s not the fault of the actors/actresses in the movie, in large part — it’s a horrible script mismanaged by committee, and poor direction in every way.
