Isn’t Typescript — being the superset of ES3, JS/ES5, ES6 — designed to support being transpiled into all future implementations of ECMA-262 starting from ES3, thereby bridging the gap between different and evolving versions of the ES?
This totally hit home. For a while now I’ve been forcing myself into the “Be Yourself” propaganda, which I later on felt like telling people to just settle and accept their flaws and ineptitude instead of improving on them. Doing that just kept on eating away my soul. Or perhaps I just wasn’t the right audience. Yup, doesn’t work for me.
