My dear liberals, you are wrong about Muslims
Salma Sitara

I’d probably be considered a liberal and so are many of the people I know, and not one of us is ignorant to the serious threat posed by extremists. So frankly, I’m not sure where you got your ideas on “liberals.” Perhaps it would be wise to address not a whole group of people, which is by definition, diverse, but to instead address: “those who think extremism is not a threat.” That would be more accurate and in that case you would not run the risk of pushing away potential allies by assuming them to be ignorant. After all, you wouldn’t want others to assume things about you or your beliefs based on the fact that you were raised Muslim, would you? It would be sensible to return that favor to others.

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
