Just think about this… An investing company sets up shop here and they keep working for about 1 year. Suddenly there is a project that requires 50 people in SE position with good tech exposure and experience….
Lets take that there is this hypothetical situtation where we find 50 engineers in SL all willing to work for 60,000 LKR per month…
Further they have applications from India who are willing to work for this project with equal exposure, experience almost identical to the Sri Lankan Engineers but who are willing to work for 40, 000LKR…. Now lets say we have also established Mode 4, allowing the perks of high mobility to employers… Who would they chose?… ….
What are the implications of this?
