FIFA Scandal: Jerome Valcke banned from all footballing activity for 12 years

The FIFA scandal has claimed another victim with former general secretary Jerome Valcke being charged with misconduct.

FIFA’s Independent Ethics Committee made the decision to ban Valcke after allegations of wrongdoing related to sales of World Cup tickets. He has been investigated for several acts of misconduct including travel expenses policies and regulations. The Frenchman has also been fined £70,800.

Valcke follows UEFA President Michel Platini and FIFA President Sepp Blatter in receiving lengthy bans.
