Why do so many people have such a preoccupation with this stuff, when we are fighting an undeclared war for 16 years? American blood is being spilled- the blood of the lower classes and disadvantaged in particular. Many who survive their multiple deployments come back with traumatic brain injury or are suicidal. Why aren’t you expending your energy, sympathy and advocacy on them instead of this cis-trans ridiculousness? Our national debt mushrooms, and there isn’t enough money for health care or infrastructure improvements, directly because of the money being spent on this war. Why aren’t people protesting about the pusillanimous congress not voting up or down on continuing this unwinnable war or holding the Veterans’ Administration’s feet to the fire? Where are your priorities, people?
