Oceans in Balance
Steven T. Jones

The remedies listed are all good and necessary ones, but no remedy is mentioned about overfishing, which was the problem discussed in the beginning of this article and is a major problem in our ocean ecosystems. And because overfishing is caused by overpopulation (along with fishing for apex predators like sharks, which should never be done), the overpopulation problem must be fixed in order for the oceans to return to their natural balance and health. Ocean acidification is a huge problem and must be remedied, but that’s also true for overfishing.
