I mean, someone pulled a knife on me last night while I was walking around a main street downtown, while playing the game. Guess what? The guy was drunk and white. Did the incident have to do with my skin color? No, it was due to the fact that I was playing a game that some see as socially odd or “nerdy.” Luckily, I myself have the means to defend myself and did. Is this incident going to stop me from playing the game? Definitely not. There is a lot of bad in the world right now and this is a nice means of escaping, even if only for 15 minutes a day because the murders and terrors of this world are constantly running circles in my mind and as someone with depression, PTSD, anxiety and OCPD it helps to have something else to focus on.
