Better in most cases, but not all…Most people I know are not so succinct with their text messaging and send far more than they would if they had to speak to me. Not to mention all the spell corrections, word mishaps and resends that occur. People over-communicate now via texts all day long and that can be as time sucking as fewer calls to someone…Over Communicating on a voice call is faster than text messaging. Texting has no thoughts about interrupting ANYTHING. A phone caller will think more before they call. I adore the relationship I have with people who can have a conversation on a phone and communicate with more expression and depth. A conversation and someone’s voice can lead to deeper connections. So I guess it is about how you want to connect with people in life. Texting is bare minimum.
