The farmer isn’t going to let his produce rot in the field because he’ll know the taxes will eventually come due, plus he has bills to pay. I doubt there will be a revolution. These people are not revolutionaries, they are the type to take the easiest road to the most comfortable place then complain that the wallpaper looks shabby when they get there.
