Hmm. This is quite neat, but in my experimenting I’m finding that, say, $(‘.graf — h3’) on this page produces an array of all matches, the same as you describe for double-$, not just the first.

This is, mind, what I would expect — selecting everything that matches is standard jQuery behavior.
