On a Mission IV

With the University of Oregon running on the quarter system, summer session is broken down into multiple fragments. Each mini term is about 4 weeks which is not a lot of time whatsoever. Having said that, the teacher of my digital drawing class wasted no time in throwing us into the fire. The first day the first exercise was to draw 50 hands. We already have a project due tomorrow. I found myself, yet again, getting a bit overwhelmed by the urgency to fit a full term’s worth of study into 4 weeks.

To carryover from yesterday, it was the start of the term that sparked some motivation these past couple days. It reminded me of the mission and what I set out to do this year. When I came back from the Bay Area before the turn of the new year, I was as motivated as ever. I made it my mission to make this year a great one. How? By becoming unstoppable, by achieving the goals I set for myself. Part of that mission was finishing school. I can categorize my goals into 3 categories for the year and school is one of them.

4 weeks, 10 weeks, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I’m on a mission. I’m on a mission to take control of my life and move forward. I got a job to finish and that’s exactly what I’m going to do:

Finish.

Peace,

J
