Obama, Merkel, IMF, Bank of England, CBI etc — who issued grave warnings and scary predictions if Britain voted to leave have now come out to assure markets that leaving the EU is not the end of the world. Mrs Merkel, in particular, has signalled that she does not want Britain to be punished on the way out.
