Great article! I’m a huge fan of using closures to configure objects.

What are your thoughts on lazy vars? I personally find they are really great for getting around those pesky rules with regular closure parameters. You lose some of the state safety, but they can be used in a lot more situations that are particularly common working with Cocoa.
