Shouldn’t We Fix Poverty Before Migrating to Mars?
Leila Janah

It is much easier to build successful companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, and going to Mars, than it is to fix global poverty, the environmental problems caused these successes, wars, hatred, racism, and science denial.

Because of the second law of thermodynamics, it is far easier to go to Mars than remove from the atmosphere the untold amounts of CO2 released into it by the rockets that will get us there.

Likewise, because of the exact same law, it is far easier to make a few people richer than to cleanup for the consequences of them getting there, and that includes poverty, and environmental damages.
