In the end of last year, we had the pleasure to participate of the creative process of the new campaign of the new Ridley Scott’s TV Serie, The Terror.

We were invited by the always amazing, Ricardo Pocci, from VML in New York, that sent us his testimonial about the project: “The Terror is an American horror drama produced by AMC and Ridley Scott, based on a book by Dan Simmons. The crews aboard the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror venture into uncharted territory seeking the Northwest Passage. As the ships got stuck, frozen and insolated, they found themselves fighting to survive the harsh weather and each other, while being stalked by an unknown creature. We had no further information when we first started, turning into an exciting challenge to explore. Romeu&Julieta were the right partners to bring to life our visual explorations in a very collaborative process. Their talent, experience and ability to succeed in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment was crucial. And more than that, the enthusiasm followed by their pro-active approach were the ice on the cake. Thanks so much for being fearless and relentlessly attentive to detail. Look forward to the next challenge together”.

Both layouts are based on the serie scope. The horror, the ice and some nice mustaches were illustrated by Jean Campos in just 2 days, what makes this job a great experience.
