Great one Abhi, this a very good list to get it the right way. I run a marketing agency and had suffered the pains of companies trying to outsource.

The first one is great, expectations and goals need to be set by both parties from the beginning. The regular client’s answer is “to get more sales”, or “to get more leads”. But many times they don’t know exactly what to request to the outsourcing company. Setting them is a very good start.

Beyond the price: many companies, especially small, medium or entrepreneurs, are looking for the cheapest price, and for that, they use platforms like Freelancer or Upwork. Good service is not cheap.

Reviews are absolutely necessary, that is the best way to confirm if the company is telling the truth about what they offer. The bigger the project the deeper the research about the company should be.

Check this article about what to ask an outsourcing company: https://www.jobsity.com/blog/questions-to-ask-a-development-outsourcing-company

And the last tip, test them! For us is not always good news to get a test, we would prefer to start right over but is the best thing a client should do… We do it with our contractors :-)
