CREST Syndrome, Limited scleroderma

CREST syndrome is type of scleroderma is believed to be an autoimmune disorder. Mostly in lower arms and legs, below the elbows and knees, and sometimes affect the face and neck. Limited scleroderma can affect your digestive tract, heart, lungs or kidneys. Limited scleroderma has no known cure. Treatments focus on managing symptoms, preventing serious complications and improving quality of life. Symptoms are finger affected by limited scleroderma, hands affected by Raynaud’s disease, woman’s face with telangiectasias, difficulty in bending your fingers or opening of mouth, red spots or lines on skin occurring primarily on the hands and face, bumps under the skin mainly on your elbows, knees and fingers. Early detection of limited scleroderma can help prevent serious complications. Consult with your doctor if you have any indications of the condition.
