Condemnation making you a prisoner

One of the surest ways to get us off-course and bring about feelings of regret and guilt is our past mistakes. In my experience every-time I allowed my past mistakes and regrets to resurface I lost my joy.

All the emotions associated with that regret and mistake brought about a deep condemnation on myself, I felt unworthy to receive any good in my life.

The feeling of condemnation is one of satan’s strongest tools against us. God knows and understands how destructive this can be on us. Only God has the power to counteract satan’s plots and ploys against us. This power is ours for the taking Romans 8.1 promises us…… So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Jesus on the cross through his death finished the work for us. He promises us in John 8.36 ….So if the son sets you free, you will be really free.

So if you find yourself bringing condemnation over yourself. and feelings of guilt keeps you in a holding cell, making you a prisoner , of your shame and guilt, this does not have to be a life sentence on you. Today , you can break free from that bondage that has kept you captive , and start to live and enjoy the life that God has fully intended for you to have. Choose freedom today choose to live life on purpose.
