The Right Image

You have something that people need, that one thing,… that unique gift only you possess that makes you stand out. It is human nature to follow the masses, to adopt someone else’s image or identity and we tend to do this only because we have not yet discovered our true worth and individuality. I am not against having a role model, a mentor, or someone I admire and aspire too. Their lives can serve and help as a gauge to build, grow and add value to my life, on the flip side, if I idolise copy, mimic their looks, character and lifestyle, then this is where the danger lies. there is a quote that goes like this …… Life is the most difficult exams. Many people fail because they try to copy others, not realising that everyone has a different question paper. Your uniqueness dwells in the beauty of YOUR soul.

There are 7 billion people on the face of this earth. Just as your fingerprints are unique to you, so too is your body shape, personality and character traits. For you to compare yourself with another person will be a huge injustice to yourself.

Scripture tells me that we are fearfully and wonderfully made(Psalms 139.14) You being here on earth is not a random act of God. This scripture in Hebrew confirms that you were created with great reverence, heartfelt interest and respect, unique, set apart and marvellous. You can search the world over you will never find another you. Celebrate your uniqueness, there. are talents, ideas, novels, designs, inventions, lying dormant inside of you waiting to be unlocked. You. may feel as if you do not have what it takes to excel, in a fast paced world, or you are not attractive enough to get noticed, not educated enough, not financially stable enough. You may see yourself as average with insecurities and flaws, born into the wrong family or not the right nationality. I am here to remind you or bring to the realisation that every bit of you exactly the way you are is a direct result of God’s divine creation. They say with ignorance comes abuse, once you discover that you were created with purpose, intent and worth, you will start to embrace the right image of yourself, this new view of yourself will propel your life in the direction of maximising your potential, leveraging your uniqueness. utilising your calling and becoming all you were designed to be. Make your life count. The world is waiting for your unveiling.
