They still deserve to be treated like human beings. Of course, people like this are the same people who make comments like “if he hadn’t stolen a pack of cigars, he wouldn’t have gotten shot”. Because, you know, the penalty for theft is always death and police are judge, jury and executioner.

Certain people believe those breaking the law deserve to be treated unfairly, abused, even killed. After all, they’re criminals. It doesn’t matter their crime (unless they’re poor little rich white boys, then the system is too harsh when they DO get punished).
