Snake Oil
Snake Oil…..
Running government like a business was a bad idea. That the greediest and most privileged among the U. S. public have insinuated themselves into so-called leadership, is the end result of the capitalism that has been superimposed over our democracy. Capitalism (middleman) works only with hierarchy and hierarchy doesn’t comport with democracy or equality.
The current health care debate between the D’s and R’s feels like a return to the Snake Oil Salesman era.
And so we are shocked….SHOCKED to find our so-called leaders collaborating with Russian oligarchs in a tortured concept of governing. One must remind that this is no better nor worse than the Obama/Clinton Administration collaborating with Saudi Arabia, another interesting group of oligarchs.
The adulteration includes the interesting fact of Trump campaign contributions to Senator Schumer, which is a whirlwind of behavior that is a promotion of The Military-Industrial Complex that in and of itself, profiteers off of this system as it contributes to it via campaign contributions, as made legal by the illegitimate Supreme Court decision called Citizens United.
Continuing down the path of capitalism (middleman), and as ethics are thrown to the side as to governmental/commercial ethics, these Representatives of The People are building a capitalistic infrastructure in the fact of for-profit prisons, which the most greedy and corrupt among us may never see.
Instead, those who may be most negatively impacted by the capitalistic system in high places, may be those sacrificed into these for-profit prisons, further enriching the hierarchy.
What is one to make of the pharmaceutical industry and medical industry, intertwined with our politicians and working in conjunction with the bought-and-paid-for legislation, and too often as a monopoly, has been reported to be implicated in the opioid epidemic, while neighborhood kids are thrown into for-profit jails for pot possession?
A reason this truncated system has been inflicted on democracy, may be that the public has complied to a notion of authority that is quite undemocratic. The public in a democracy is quite capable of governing themselves — — https://www.ecowatch.com/al-gore-paris-agreement-2456658881.html?utm_source=EcoWatch+List&utm_campaign=3ad8c0793f-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_49c7d43dc9-3ad8c0793f-85339501
Those who remember democracy are those who may be most assaulted by hierarchy — — https://www.ecowatch.com/brockovich-oklahoma-earthquakes-2455018237.html?utm_source=EcoWatch+List&utm_campaign=3ad8c0793f-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_49c7d43dc9-3ad8c0793f-85339501
Native Americans practiced democracy. One wishes the current D’s and R’s would remember that capitalism is the excuse of the greedy and privileged to control democracy, which makes it anything but democracy — -

One must question the notion that a so-called health care plan based on the insurance industry to pay for the undermined health of the public after exploitation too often by industrialized predatory behavior, is a moral choice in comparison to a national health care plan that promotes prevention of disease and with legislation in place to ensure this protection to the public. A health-care plan based on prevention of disease would be far cheaper for the public, and would allow the individual citizen to pursue happiness, unencumbered by extortion levels of health insurance costs and providing a level of health that would suggest pursuit of personal goals, rather than compliance to a hierarchical money-making scheme.

Can a point be made that, without being a fan of communism, perhaps the system of capitalism, which is the opposite side of the coin of communism, is the reason for the Cuban Revolution that disabused itself of the hierarchy (1%) that was enriching itself at the expense of the Cuban public(99%). That a communistic system was installed isn’t admirable, but that the Cuban literacy rate is ostensibly 100%, that the Cuban environment is clean and doesn’t kill its public must be good, and that everyone has health care are indisputable results of the Cuban Revolution. One would expect those kicked out of Cuba to have their side of the story, as do the Cubans have theirs.
https://www.c-span.org/video/?430975-3/washington-journal-margaret-flowers-michael-tanner-discuss-single-payer-health-care — One is grateful for the C-Span presentation of diverse views on subjects, with the public call-in to voice perspectives and questions. That while we have a battle royal on those promoting ACA and those promoting ACHA, it is telling that a serious discussion on the subject of alternative delivery of a health care plan not dependent on enriching the capitalistic hierarchy, isn’t allowed.
One-Trick-Pony Tanner seems unable to envision a system of health care that doesn’t has as a priority, industry control and enrichment. This isn’t communism, because in a communistic system it would be the Party leaders who would be enriched. Capitalism has a more circuitous system of politician enrichment based on campaign contributions as allowed in the illegitimate Supreme Court decision called Citizens United, and based on professional lobbyists.
Although the public manifestation of petition to one’s government is protests, unlike lobbyists, protesters are under surveillance, persecution, and prosecution by the law enforcement that serves and protects capitalistic hierarchy at the expense of the public.

U. S. citizens standing in defense of human rights and environmental rights, aren’t terrorists. Protesters shouldn’t be persecuted and lobbyists shouldn’t be rewarded.
The fact of governmental/commercial legislation that actively harms the environment and/or public, is the end result of capitalistic hierarchical privilege and greed, that has been superimposed as “our system” in place of democracy. PETITION — To voice your opposition to helpless and silent public compliance to these human and environmental rights violations — -

— — -The alternative to defending human and environmental rights, is for the public to comply and support the ever-burgeoning medical industry that is openly and insolently robbing the U. S. public to so-called treat the risks passed onto that public by commercial exploitation.
Support for democracy is as easy as seeing the modern-day snake oil salesmen for who they are, and stop buying the product. A large group of the public are standing on their own 2 feet — —
