Do you know what are your weak points in your relationship? What can you improve? Here are 5 common mistakes that you too can improve on.

In the age of dating apps, open relationships, and ghosting, “commitment” is a fuzzy concept. But while the commitment remains unclear and things seem to be changing on the surface for this new generation, some things don’t change. These are the most common errors within a couple.

1. Say sweet words, kindnesses

Cohabitation has no shortage of unsexy elements: a shared bathroom, dirty dishes, expectations that you’ll drop your dirty socks in a laundry basket, and so on. And often, you exchange “I emptied the trash” or a “can you get some milk?” It’s not that the so-called flame can’t survive this, you know, it’s just that at some point the novelty gets lost and your space is taken by someone else — you begin to coexist in a more prosaic format.
