Many new content publishing platforms have emerged, but they didn’t change the business model of the old paper publishing industry : subscription and/or advertisements.

I’ve always been suspicious of content paid directly or indirectly by corporations, and the subscription model wants to limit you to only one content provider…

Ev Williams is right, it is time to invent a new model, not just follow the trend, because it is going nowhere.
