This past Tuesday in America was Election Day. It happens every year, not just every four years when the presidential elections occur and make the national news. A lot of people forget this. They vote for the president, but they don’t think about voting in their local elections.

Local elections matter. National politics begins at the grassroots level, in your own hometown.
