I am really just a mom and wife rocking out life on my 5 acre farm. I love to grow food for my family, canning, & making jams and jellies. I am currently in school at Nazarene Bible College in their ministry prep program.
A little over 30 days ago I set a goal to follow a nutrition plan, and not waver from that plan. I decided to become a Fit Life Rockstar!
Last Friday, I accomplished the goal I set for myself.
I released 16.2 lbs & 39.25 inches! AND, I feel better than I have in YEARS!
I am so stinking proud of myself!!! I didn’t waver one time. Not a dip, dabble, or nibble even though there was plenty of temptation.
There were times I was tempted to cheat myself out of this victory, but thankfully there was a voice in the back my head that stopped me. I knew if I went off plan, I would have to report that I went off plan. I didn’t want to have to report that. I believe everyone should have an accountability partner — even if it’s blog readers that may or may not exist.
If one day, a person who is struggling to stay on track finds this blog in their search to stay strong, I didn’t want to be the one to give them the go ahead. Instead, I’m going to say this, “Dear struggling friend, you can do this!!! You are stronger than that temptation! You CAN have it. This isn’t about what you CAN’T have, it’s about what is beneficial. Remember, all things are permissible, but not everything will benefit you. If it isn’t beneficial, put it down and walk away. Done? Good! Now give yourself a big hug! You just leaped over another hurdle!”
