My journey is not about being skinny, or having that 👙 body. I don’t need that, I’d never wear one anyway. My journey is about being healthy, fit, strong. 💪🏻
My motto for the next 25 days is leaner, cleaner, stronger. Because “skinny” isn’t going to make me feel better. Healthy is.
🤔So, if my focus isn’t skinny, why am I posting about my weight loss and inches gone? Because honestly, being 220 pounds isn’t healthy. Weight loss and inches is just a way to measure what is happening with my body.
BUT guess what? I’m also feeling more energetic🎉. I’m also sleeping 😴 better. I’m also getting feeling back in my feet and legs 👏🏽 that I haven’t had for years! (Which is both a blessing and a curse because it is a painful process, but I have faith it will get better!)
The biggest thing I’ve learned is that I can’t do this alone. I needed a support group. I needed accountability. Most of all I needed God!
