Tree Ear desperately wants to learn how to make pottery. When encountering one of the best potters in the village, Min, he wants to learn from him. Before he can learn, Min forces him to work grueling hours of cutting clay, chopping trees and straining the clay. When the Royal Emissary comes, it’s Tree Ear’s goal to have Min be elected as commissioner. Through the journey Tree-Ear faces, he is determined to get his master’s piece to the capital for inspection. Little does he know what awaits him on the roads.
