As these days are not good for interacting with people or traveling, my family has made a ritual of playing ludo every evening no matter what, and initially, I was not interested as I love to be productive every second of my day, but once I wasn’t having any task to do and that’s how I got to play that game, and yes, you guessed it right! unknowingly I developed its habit and now we play it every evening, Now you’ll say, ‘Jeel, what’s new in this?’, wait a bit and you’ll get to know its secret! But first, let’s think,

How you define a successful person?

(yeah, I know success is not the finish line, its a never-ending journey, but we’ll talk about it in some other blog). According to me,

“a person who has made mistakes and learned the most out of it”

can probably be it’s define, now here comes ‘Ludo — The Game’ in the scene, apply that same formula of success while playing ‘Ludo’.

Chronology of playing ‘Ludo’

Everyone have got both success and failures in their life when we achieve success, I mean when we get 5–6 while rolling the dice or finally get our horse into the hall of fame! (yeah, that 4 pieces are called horse — heads or simply ‘tokens’), and when we get caught by competitors horse or lose the game, we’re like somewhat sad or have a negative vibe for a while, But in my case, I would be like ‘Woah, in what hell is the piece of dice made up! can’t it just get me one score(when we’re on the edge and someone catches us), in short, I used to be so mad (mentally) and like never play that game again, but still got a little confidence every evening and kept playing.

Life lessons while playing ludo

Initially, I used to be a loser every time, and it was freaking me out, but I kept playing and even I searched youtube for its tricks to win! but no win, Now after that, it was like the game was teaching me something, I only needed to recognize it and accept it, so I brainstormed the advantages of playing ludo, and the first thing being a loser I got that — ludo teaches you how to fail, now don’t get me wrong, But everyone wants to win, and nothing’s wrong in it, but when that winner gets a single failure, things get to change speedily, that’s when a person feels depressed, stressed and frustrated, and now you know what is the life lesson we get while playing ludo, life never always gives you lemons to make lemonade, sometimes you get defeat and there’s nothing you could do except to these options, first is to be sad for a couple of minutes or sometimes hours, or ignore it and forget it, and the second is to analyze its reasons of occurrence and learn something every time from it.

Long story short

While getting failure in ludo, I learned that the Ludo is exactly the twin of our life, everyone is here to draw us back, but we’ve to find our way to that hall of fame. In other words, ludo teaches us how to fail in something and accept it. We’ve to apply certain strategies and formulas to win.

That’s what I learned by playing ludo twice a day!

You can also play it with your friends, family, or colleagues to learn how to fail, and interestingly that is also the title of my next blog, so stay tuned!

Hey! If you know me well, then you’d know that I love facts and every time I use to tell to everyone, So these are some of the
