How is this different than the many-worlds interpretation? It seems like more of a step-by-step explanation of how many-worlds is applied to the inflationary period prior to the big bang.
Also, from this article, it seems there is a dimension of time but it’s not necessarily pointed in any direction? I’m confused how the quantum state of two different pre-big bang regions can “roll down the hill” with different outcomes (how would the energy in the field be resolved more than once?)
