I fear that that change to the 14th Amendment makes too much sense, and derails too many gravy trains, to ever see the light of day. You’d have less effective resistance repealing the 2nd Amendment. (possible sarcasm)

Too many, natural and other persons are too committed to the status quo to let it go without a fight, perhaps especially since it’s obviously fracturing. They’ll ride it all the way down, Slim Pickens-style, after strapping the rest of the world on.

At what point do we start thinking about how to go about surviving the interregnum, personally and as a civilisation, and building something better afterwards? I’d love to be convinced that we can ride the bomb straight back up into its cradle in the plane, but that is a flight of fancy.
