Having said that, it is appropriate to mention a thing about Netball which is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players. Its development, derived from early versions of basketball, began in England in the 1890s. Even though there aren’t a lot of companies where this is a common game, there are still that have adopted the game and are now going ahead with it.

To be a professional it is important to mention various netball skills and techniques that can be learnt over a stipulated period of time. While there are others too, ball handling remains a very important part and here this blog covers various ball handling skills that that players need to know about.

1. Hook Pass — The aim of the hook pass the ball without interfering with the defender.

2. Hook Pass with Defender — An extension of the hook pass but here the ball might just interfere just a little with the defender.

3. Chest pass — A passing technique over some middle distance; the pass is made with controlled speed.

4. Bounce Pass — The aim is to practice a passing technique over a short distance to improve Netball skills.

5. Shoulder Pass — Shoulder pass has an important role to play when the ball needs to be passed over a long distance to improve netball skills.

These five are the most common netball skills that every player needs to have a grip on in order to be a professional player at the game.
