How to self-promote without annoying everyone…

Andrew Carter — great post, Andrew! I appreciate your honesty. I can totally relate to being blown away by the ridiculous number of likes and engagements the most bizarre writings get. Especially while your busting your (pencils) trying to to stay genuine, authentic and somewhat relatable.

I’ve chased the brand and clickable titles. I’ve tried “in your face” and “incognito.” I’ve paid for the “tried and true” suggestions of the best. In the end I have to write for me. Writing is my form of expression. I keep imagining someone is on the other side getting just as much out of my writing as I’m putting in. It’s the thing that keeps me motivated. :-)

Wish you the best on your next book!! Keep writing because it’s who you are not what you do! — Jeff
