The simplicity of a skid mark and inexplicable motorcycle in the kitchen instantly took me back to my childhood and memories of people I knew way back when. Where some people would see sadness, you captured joy and made it beautiful. Well done!
Great breakdown! I can guarantee that studio notes ruined the US version. The logo reveals the joke before the punch line. Those 9 frames at the beginning of the “rug pull” shot are absolutely deadly. For those viewers that prefer the “air” they provide, I contend the shot of the man delivering the line before the reaction gives all the breathing room required.
Since when are law enforcement officers “notorious for actually committing crimes against minorities”? Of over 900,000 sworn officers in the U.S., most of them honorably serve the public every day.
