Horrible trade for the Sixers. I get that they had no interest in re signing him apparently but still. I find it hard to believe that they couldn’t have found a better deal out there. If the league is so down on big men why not wait till he’s an RFA and then work a sign and trade maybe or simply just hang onto him for a year then move him. If everyone is down on the big men regardless of the Sixers leverage doesn’t that drive Noel’s price down? This return is of little to no value unless Anderson turns into something/figures out his jumpshot. To think that the 37th pick is a valuable asset is kind of foolish. Sure there are guys found in the second round that turn out to be something but it is rare. Why turn down the Pelicans deal for Jah but do this one?
