Well, a diesel-powered box on wheels actually sounds like a pretty decent proposition — you can go places with it! But yeah, another friend brought up at one point how, if there was better funding for independent theater, this piece might never have been written. And it’s true that if our producing was anything other than strictly avocational, we might not have burnt out when we did. If your art can pay the bills, then hats off, whatever it is you do! In any event, I’m glad to see, though, that you’re able to keep at it AND find time to be a good parent — your path stands as a hopeful inspiration to others!
