London is a preferred place of residency for many immigrants living in the UK. As this city is always bustling and brimming with lively culture, one might have trouble finding the perfect district to live in.

As a parent, you may be concerned about your children’s education and revolve your decision around the education district and if it fits your budget.

A study by the UK Department for Education compared the performance of Year 11 students’ GCSE English and Mathematics subject performance across schools in London. The study showed over two-thirds of students in Kingston and Sutton with grades averaging from A* to B.

The top five performing districts also included Barnet, Richmond and Kensington & Chelsea, followed by Redbridge, Westminster, Ealing, Wandsworth and Harrow, coming in at sixth to tenth.

That said, let us give you a breakdown of these districts alongside the highlights and attractions that come with them!

1. Hammersmith

Hammersmith

Hammersmith is one of the most well-renowned school districts in London. Besides a list of reputable State schools, it also boasts quality private schools on King Street.

Having said that, students are assigned to schools based on their location. Currently, this district’s real estate varies from £700,000 to £800,000 for one-bedroom units and can lead to £1,000,000 for two-bedroom units.
