A Trick to Always Have Ideas for Posts

In This Case, Spreadsheets Are Your Friend

(If you can write by hand, a notebook is fine too.)

I often have trouble coming up with ideas to blog / post on Medium… then this came along.

I keep a spreadsheet for this in my Google Drive, but you can just as easily carry around a notebook. The only important thing is that it’s available for you at any time.

Every day you write down 10 ideas for posts. Note that they don’t all have to be good ideas; the important thing is that you just bring them out every day.

Do this every day and you’ll build up your mental idea generator. Also, you’ll find that you have more good ideas to use, over time.

Aw… Medium! Don’t you DARE be sour! CLAP for your someday famous message poster, and feel the power! It’s a New Day, yes it is…
