Decentralized (A Digital Poem)
I like to think
my mind is decentralized
like yours
vast, open, spacious, benign.
(You made the kids
origami flowers
for Valentine’s Day!)
But sometimes, it is
coarsened
by ego’s
venture capitalists
who monopolize
governance tokens
disrupt
nodes of solicitude.
(When we argue
my teeth chatter
before sleep.)
Parachains of
intimacy
bind us.
I will not forget.
Is there a
White Paper
addressed
to Our Souls?
(Either way,
I will find you
in the metaverse
beyond death
my love.)
Digital Decentralized — “Decentralized” is a love poem I wrote to my wife in the language of Web 3.0. I think Web 3.0 acts as an interesting metaphor for consciousness and love. Is the mind centralized or decentralized? Is our consciousness our own or part of a larger consciousness? Can we call that consciousness “love”?
