The Uefa Champions League Draw
Liverpool handed somewhat favourable draw in Champions League group stages.

So, the Champions League groups have been drawn, much to the delight of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City fans. Not so much for the Tottenham Hotspur supporters. The groups are as follows:

So obviously, we have been drawn to Group E alongside Spanish side Sevilla, Russian champions Spartak Moscow, and Slovenian champions Maribor.
I have to say that I am pretty pleased with our draw, as it could have been much much worse. Look at Spurs for example. They were in Pot 3 with us, so we could have easily been drawn with Group H alongside Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and APOEL instead. We have Francesco Totti and Andriy Shevchenko to thank for that stroke of luck.
An interesting thing to note is that we have been drawn with Sevilla, who of course pipped us to the Europa League title two seasons ago. I am sure our boys will be fired up as they seek revenge for that night.
Manchester United and Manchester City were also given favourable draws in Group A and F respectively, while Chelsea were drawn in Group C alongside Atletico Madrid, Roma and Qarabag — not the easiest group.
With that being said, we should not take our opponents in Group E lightly. We have to take into account that we will need to travel to Russia and Slovenia for 2 away games against Spartak Moscow and Maribor respectively, which might take a toll on our players. We all know that midweek games do affect the fatigue and energy levels of players. With that, it should be even more important for us to go out and get some players to bolster our squads, so that we can ensure that we progress smoothly to the last 16 of the Champions League, and do well in the Premier League at the same time. With a favourable draw, we have taken a step in the right direction. Over to you, Reds.
