Lightmen
Chapter 2:Home and Away
It’s happening again. Another group of young people who have either spent some time outside the city or have parents who are not from around here. They say they feel displaced and conflicted because they have two sides. Two homes to choose from. Allegiance is important to them. We look on and we would laugh if this was not so pathetic. They are focusing on things that have no eternal value. The faux tribe they are a part of is really just like a dispenser of emotional candy concerned about the seemingly necessary. Their problem is that they are picking tribes when they should read the Book to find out who they really are.
As we look on we remember what it was like to find out that we are seated at His right hand and imprisoned by this coat. It is not a dual citizenship. A.P says we are citizens of Pearl City but we have no passport to show for it. K.H reminded me the other day to use Josh’s name to put Lu in his place. It’s amazing how easy it is to stamp our authority when we know how to use it. Some of my brothers and sisters want to get home so quickly that they are of no use to the inhabitants of the City of Gen. We have work to do. The Opticians are getting trained. So also are the Dispensers, Proclaimers and Builders amongst others. Our army has won the war but Lu has tricked many of the City of Gen and even some of the Lightmen into thinking he’s still in power. Thank God we are taking territories and dominating cities.
