I am sorry. You died last night.
Pamela Day

So sad, but I am proud of you for doing all you could, and for writing with such compassion. Your words stopped me in my tracks at the end of a busy Saturday and made me think about Kate and you; life and co-existance, the transience of all this, and yet we can all benefit from the immediate beauty of spontaneous love, even when we are not there. I will carry this story in my heart and though I hope I am never in such a situation I will hope to share the grace you showed.
