I got to add most of the self-help articles and books play to peoples’ emotions and insecurities, and everyone gobbles up the advice of what to do to become more wealthy or successful. In everyone’s mind if Steve Jobs did something or meditated, you should meditate. Meditation was just part of Job’s life, not the sole reason he was successful. Yet the lore of the successful folks ends up becoming somewhat holy, and their habits as conventional wisdom of how to attain success.

The same people society worships did adapt and emulate some habits of successful people before them, but did so in their own way.
